Who we are

We are a nonprofit collaborative that supports and serves underrepresented communities. Whether it’s advocacy, wrap-around services, or community-based participatory research, we stand alongside marginalized communities and work with them to address the social conditions that have an adverse impact on their health and wellbeing.

What Our Promise

We serve as the connection point for vital services for participants. Key aspects of our service delivery model include meaningful partnerships and collaboration with the public and private sector and human services systems. At the same time, we address multiple key issues important to marginalized communities: affordable housing, workforce development, trauma-informed care, mental health and mentoring. Our strategies focus on enhancing the safety of communities of color in high-poverty neighborhoods where gun violence is rife.

Affordable Housing

The development of low-cost housing projects is also rather beneficial for developers, builders, architects, contractors, investors, and real estate agents.

Workforce Development

Workforce development from the organizational centric perspective, we provide existing and potential workers with the skills to complete tasks needed by employers to let the organizations stay competitive in a global marketplace.

Trauma-informed Care

Trauma-informed care recognizes and responds to the signs, symptoms, and risks of trauma to better support the health needs of patients who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress.
